Rutledge Family Photographs
Archibald Rutledge (SC, 1883-1973), Rutledge was the first South Carolina poet laureate from 1834-1973, including several family members, an African-American family, daguerrotype and an arrowhead, ranging in size from 3-7/8 x 3-1/4 in. (frame) to 9-1/2 in. (frame-diameter). Provenance: Descended to the current owner from the Middleton and Rutledge Families, Hamptin Plantation, South Carolina; Collection of Mr. and Mrs. Fain E. Edwards, Andrews, North Carolina
all are in very good condition, not examined out of frames
