with concealed watch and matching pin, said to belong to Septima Sexta Rutledge II Forney, great-granddaughter of two signers of the Declaration of Independence, tested 18kt., engraved leaf design on front and back, front has 26 rose cut diamonds in foliate design centered in blue enamel, opens to expose watch with white circular enamel dial, Roman numerals, gold surrounding face engraved "Aiguilles, Enchappment a cylindre huit trous rubis", probably Swiss, with watch key made for it later, 3-1/4 in., 52.5 grams scratches, works not opened for inspection; pin tested 18kt., blue enamel with 24 rose cut diamonds in foliate design, border engraved, 1-1/8 x 7/8 in. tarnish, losses to enamel.
