mid 19th century, hand written and painted family registry for the Clark family of New Hampshire, detailing the birth and death dates of the children of Robert and Mary Clark, ink and watercolor on paper, laid out in a tombstone shape, decorative leaf borders and floral sprays, inscription verso, 12 x 10 (sight); gilt wood and composition frame, 14 x 12 in.; accompanied by one watercolor profile portrait and seven silhouette cuttings depicting the listed family members, each with identifying inscription and dates verso, largest 4 x 3-1/4 in.; gilt wood and composition frames, largest 6 x 5-1/2 in.Registry inscribed verso: "The seven cuttings, one water-color, and Clark family register were purchased from Roger Bacon of Epping (Exeter?), New Hampshire, who got them from Charles Adams of Derry(?), N.H.. Purchased items will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
