[Suzuribako] Writing Box in [Tomobako] Japanese, important and complete writing utensil box in raised gold lacquer, top with pair peacocks in garden of peonies with inlaid abalone to feathers, breaking waves over rocks and silver inlaid moon to inside top, silver rims, wave and rock-decorated interior black lacquered tomobako with gold and silver kanji referring to “peacock”, “peony” and “gold lacquer”, artist name translated as Togima Mitue Munakata Shikou, writing box 7-3/4 x 7 x 1-3/4 in.; tomobako 8-3/4 x 7-3/4 x 3 in.; with ink stone, silver boat-shaped water dropper two brushes, paper knife and knife file.
