Japanese, two-part lantern with helmet top, pierced paulownia and [shi-shi] lion design to light cage, tendril and flower relief design to body and [shi-shi] in relief to hexagonal base, calligraphy inscription in relief to top, rust-like patina (but not rust), 62 x 26 in.. Condition: top was originally welded to base but is now loose. Notes: This piece has been displayed inside for past 12 years.
