T. Stack" stamp and roman numeral "IV", engraving to percussion lock and cock, engraved crescent moon side plate, figured maple stock, raised cheek rest, eleven inset engraved silver inlays throughout stock including a heart, shield, other geometric forms, tobacco leaf inlay on buttstock, double set triggers, brass trigger guard, butt plate, ramrod guides and thimbles, 54-1/2 in. overall

handling wear to stock and barrel consistent with age and use, skint stock, ramrod absent, replaced lock, likely replaced side plate, 3 in. stock repair to right side of forend in front of lock plate, 2-3/4 in. stock repair behind cock, thin 5 in. separation to left side of stock running beneath side plate, then underneath trigger guard up to lock plate, small tack under lock plate, 3 in. split under stock in front of thimble, corrosion in bore, tarnish to lock plate, oxidation to metal components, cock and triggers will set and function
