British, 18th century, pier or console table with single board figured mahogany top over scalloped skirt centering boldly carved scalloped shell, shell and bellflower carved knees with C scrolls, paw feet, 32 x 53 x 26-1/2 in.

very good overall, original top reset with later screws, some later blocking for legs, veneer repairs to lower scrolls at skirt, one small patch at tip of skirt shell, top with break and repair at one rear corner and minor shrinkage crack with infill and butterfly patch at back, surface patch at rear rail
