Persian, depicting the journey to the seventh heaven with Buraq carrying Mohammad, surrounded by angels bearing gifts, 11-3/4 x 7-7/8 in., framed, sheet laid down on board; 17th century manuscript leaf, ink and color on paper, Safavid figures and horses in a landscape, calligraphy at top and bottom, 10-3/4 x 6-1/2 in. (image), 11 x 6-5/8 in. matted and framed, tears lower left, soiling and some foxing overall especially to borders, small tear upper left corner, not examined out of frames.
