Tall Chest of Drawers
attributed to Guilford or Randolph County, 1800-1830, walnut and birch(?) case with poplar, yellow pine and cherry(?) secondary, pitched pediment set with wavy molding, ten dovetailed drawers with original brass pulls flanked by quarter columns, original ogee bracket feet, rosehead and cut nail construction, undisturbed backboards, 75-1/2 x 43 x 22 in. excellent condition throughout, original brasses and probably original surface, original feet and most blocking with scattered breaks and repairs, front foot with pieced facings (approximately 1-1/2 in.), missing several drawer locks, very minor chips at some corners of drawer facings, some distress to brass pulls.
