Pediment Tall Chest on Frame
Piedmont North Carolina, circa 1810, triangular pediment with fan and fleur-de-lis appliqués, dovetail drawers with poplar secondary, original frame with scalloped skirts, cabriole legs and slipper feet, 78-1/2 x 43-1/4 x 22-1/2 in. brasses replaced, patches and restorations to three feet, break and loss at one side spur, some knee returns restored, appliqués on tympanum possibly replaced, backboards reset, scattered minor cracks, surface wear and flaws consistent with age and use.
