Known as “Red”, or “M.C.” he had a life-long interest in how things worked, which led to an interest in firearms and gunsmithing. M.C earned a degree in chemical engineering at the University of North Dakota in 1943 and was immediately recruited to serve in the top-secret WWII Manhattan Project in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. After the war his gunsmithing hobby became a family business. M. C.
