early 19th century, tapered rounded 6-1/4 in. barrel with remnants of gilt inlay, walnut full stock, swans neck hammer, lock plate inscribed "Prevoteari a Paris", darkened metal side plate and butt plate, darkened metal trigger guard with outlined carving, inlaid silver thumb rest below floral carving, metal tipped ramrod with metal extractor, 11 in. overall; Provenance: Private New England Collection
