Note:

This etched glass and mirror table was a collaborative endeavor of world renowned architect, Richard Gluckman and a private collector. Seeking to express a minimalist design in a playful, less severe way, the designers of this table rendered a classical minimalist form in new materials and color. The streamlined simplicity of Shaker furniture served as inspiration for the table’s structure and lines. Aluminum provided a silver metallic quality that imbued a visual and tactile softness not available in steel. Backed by mirror, the acid etched glass surface captures and reflects light without revealing the exact contours of the objects above. Its effect is a luminous and ethereal glow.
