Kiewel/1884" , 31-1/4 x 24-3/4 in., patch with related retouch, original stretcher and tacking edge, abrasions, crackle; one facing left with cap off one shoulder, signed "C.Kagel", 30-1/4 x 24-1/4 in.,abrasions, laid down with card exhibiting water damage, retouch, one in heavily braided uniform, signed lower left with conjoined monogram "ES 1840" surmounted by a crown, 33 x 27 in., three patches verso with related retouch, all oil on canvas; similar original wood frames, each sitter identified on handcarved wood placards affixed to top of frame.
