British, early 19th century, upper case with flat molded gothic cornice over two glazed doors with fabric-lined adjustable shelved interior, lower case with cylinder opening to fitted desk interior with leather-lined writing board, long drawers with oak linings, French feet, 89 x 46-1/4 x 22 in., breaks and repairs to feet including one rear foot with some associated loss and glue repair, one area of veneer loss at front edge (where handle for cylinder hits front edge), some repairs and restorations to muntins, top surface of desk fully finished (bookcase probably a good match), some areas of molding with distress and minor losses, scattered repairs and retouch to veneers, brasses replaced, some drawer frames loose at joints.
