British, late 18th/early 19th century, case with pagoda form top over two panel glazed door, shaped base with brass mounts, finely figured bookmatched veneers with lightwood edging, circular enameled dial with Roman chapter ring and gilt brass surround, brass movement, pendulum and winder present, 39 x 11 x 5 in. - Provenance: Estate of Robert K. Johnson, Aiken, South Carolina good condition, minor wear to enameled dial, lacking weight, hanger tip of pendulum broken, minor flaw at lower right corner, some minor finish distress and color variation, very minor surface distress and flaws, two glass panels present but not affixed
