Gilt Mirror
British, mid-18th century, the broken-arch pediment centering a pierced shell figured walnut frame set with gilt moldings and streamers centering a distressed mirror plate, 59 x 29-1/4 in., scattered cracks and veneer repairs with some minor warping, distress to mirror plate (probably an old replacement but not removed), some surface wear to gilding, backboards with some later bracing, minor bump and loss at lower central base molding.
