Upholstered Library Chair
British, mid-18th century, deeply carved arm supports and cabriole legs, lion-paw front feet and pad rear feet, 40-3/4 in.. Provenance: Benjamin Ginsberg Antiquary (copy of receipt accompanies lot); Private Collection, Wilson, North Carolina
front legs apparently spliced at ankles, otherwise good condition, formerly fitted with casters, scattered plugged upholstery scars, not examined under upholstery
