(Wisconsin, born 1955) "Prismatic Shift", disc in bright colors, 20 in.; set on a heavy steel stand, 25-1/2 x 22-1/2 x 5 in., excellent condition. Notes: Gary Beecham was a National Merit Scholar and assistant to Harvey Littleton, 1980-1985. The consignor was for ten years a member of the Penland School of Crafts Board, Spruce Pine, NC, and had the opportunity to know many of the glass artists there and watch the creative process. Over numerous years, this consignor took a deep interest in traveling, meeting top artists, some in their studios and homes, others in gallery shows and began collecting important Art Glass in various venues within the U.S.A. and abroad..
