19th/20th century, with large hat, boots, and military badge on chest, two extended arms with paddle like ends, painted in red, white and brown pigment, suspended on metal stand, with arm up 17-3/4 x 5-3/4 in.

loss to pigment, chip to brim of hat, some cracks to wood, notably on top of hat and shoulders, twine on proper right wrist, proper left arm slightly loose, surface accretion
