[Ruyi] Scepter
Chinese, carved hardwood possibly Zitan, two boys in landscape with trees and rocks carved in high relief, another similar scene with three boys, [ruyi] head with overall floral surround, carved jade depicting two [qilongs] surrounding center with stylized clouds 3 x 3-1/4 in., raised oval center, 3-1/8 x 1-3/4 in., lower piece with conforming design 2-1/8 x 1-5/8 in., all three with centers of inset wood protruding from handle and with carved Buddhist symbols, 19-5/8 x 3-1/2 in., attached silk tassel with two amber [bi] and beads lower inset jade plaque loose from mount, old break and repair to body behind head and at elbow.
