[Ruyi] Scepter
Chinese, carved hardwood possibly Zitan, two boys in landscape with trees and rocks carved in high relief, another similar scene with three boys, [ruyi] head with overall floral surround, carved jade depicting two [qilongs] surrounding center with stylized clouds 3 x 3-1/4 in., raised oval center, 3-1/8 x 1-3/4 in., lower piece with conforming design 2-1/8 x 1-5/8 in., all three with centers of inset wood protruding from handle and with carved Buddhist symbols, 19-5/8 x 3-1/2 in., attached silk tassel with two amber [bi] and beads lower inset jade plaque loose from mount, old break and repair to body behind head and at elbow. Condition
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
