Mahogany Tall Case Clock Scottish, c. 1810-1830, the hood with gothic arch centering a circular painted dial with Roman chapter ring, brass eight-day movement, back of dial with several inscriptions including "Morris", underside of saddle board inscribed in pencil "F Roberts(?) Watch and Clock Maker…", attributed to David Greig, Perth, Scottland, c. 1810-1830, the case with figured mahogany veneers, lyre-form waist set with a convex door with stylized shell and scroll carving, 86 x 19-1/2 x 10 in. case in generally good condition, crack and separation at base panel, minor losses at feet, scattered surface and veneer flaws, the dial likely repainted with some surface distress, works and case appear to be a good match.
