probably Northern Virginia, circa 1800, highly figured bookmatched walnut veneers, banded top centering large lightwood panel depicting cotton plants, with inlaid surround, bold geometric inlay on top edge, graduated drawers with inlaid quarter fan, line, and shield escutcheon inlays, flanked by barber pole and wave inlaid panels, sawtooth bookmatched shaped skirt, set on original French feet, yellow pine, poplar, and oak secondary, 38 x 39 x 18 in.
