Chest on Frame
Piedmont, circa 1825, yellow pine and poplar secondary, hinged lid over dovetailed case, conforming frame with two drawers and peaked skirt on cabriole legs with slipper feet, 28-3/4 x 45 x 18 in., good condition overall with minor distress at hinge attachments (formerly fitted with supplemental hinges now removed), replaced brasses, dovetailed drawers with some cut nail reinforcements, frame in excellent condition with some repinning at joints, edge and foot wear.
