Tall Case Clock
attributed to Jesse Needham School (circa 1774-1838, working Randolph County at the turn of the 19th century), with arched sheet iron dial, well painted with stylized birds, seconds hand and calendar ring, gilt hands, the case with arched hood, fluted quarter columns and original ogee bracket feet, with two weights, winder and pendulum, 89-1/2 x 19-1/2 x 11-1/2 in.,. Condition: very good condition overall, surface wear to painted dial, hands likely replaced, solder repair to pendulum attachment, calendar ring possibly repainted (slightly different color), original saddleboard (works and case a good match), minor color variation to case, largely original feet (one side with replaced facings and one other facing with patch and repair).
