Glass Student Lamp late 19th century, attributed to Edward Miller & Co. for Manhattan Brass Company, patinated bronze stand with classical motifs, unsigned, fitted with two glass shades with bands of flowers, one signed "Handel 2628"(?), now wired for electricity, 32 x 27 in. generally good condition, shades with roughness and very minor chips at top edges, some scratches and paint losses to decoration, shade supports with very minor dents, one small dent in base ring, later wiring. Provenance: Antique Lamplight Gallery, Versailles, Kentucky,1996, (accompanied by original receipt); Private Collection, Asheville, North Carolina

Condition

generally good condition, shades with roughness and very minor chips at top edges, some scratches and paint losses to decoration, shade supports with very minor dents, one small dent in base ring, later wiring
