Motte, 1726, two volumes, first edition, Teerink's #129, "B" state, complete with frontispiece and six black and white plates, engraved frontispiece in Volume I, bound in contemporary full brown blind-stamped morocco with five raised bands and gilt Roman numerals on each volume, 8 x 5 in.; all housed in a custom cloth chemise and slipcase, front and back hinges on both volumes are cracked but holding, small amount of loss to the top and bottom of the spines, ownership signatures on the title page of Volume I, Volume II's endpapers may be missing and the first page is detached, leather bookplates in each volume.
