Manuscript
mid to late 19th century, a pocket Koran, finely hand-illuminated on polished paper and bound into an elaborately gilt envelope-type binding with matching slipcase, 7 x 4-1/2 in. very good with some wear at the extremities and loss at the top of the spine in a very good slipcase with wear and one 3-inch tear, assumed to be complete.
