London: William Sams, circa 1822-1824, Tooley 443, plates (complete) are hand-colored and are accompanied by descriptive text, in a contemporary three-quarter leather binding over pebbled cloth, with an elaborately gilt decorated spine, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, 14-3/4 x 11 in., bookplate on the front pastedown, binding appears to have had some repair, some wear at the extremities, otherwise very good, the plates are basically clean, with minute amounts of foxing, toning and offsetting.
