Amsterdam, 18th century, dial with engraved signature "F. Pasteur Amsterdam" and painted signature "David Cenrandts(?) Fecit", painted and engraved brass dial with arched top with windmill, moon phase, and mechanical figure casting for fish, spandrels each with articulated figures playing musical instruments, month and week calendar dials, finely carved case with arched top centering a roman profile bust and relief, gilt putti and flaming urn finials, probably mid 19th century brass works with four chiming coils, blind fretwork sarcophagus top, relief carved door with musical trophies, on a bombe base with carved feet, period pendulum, winder, door key, and three weights are present, 103-1/2 in. - Provenance: Estate of Paul W.
