Lambeth, England (established 1815), baluster form with incised ornament colored in shades of brown and blue and including palmetto and acanthus leaves, painted blue-green birds with white accents with wings raised on incised twigs, impressed on bottom circular device with "DOULTON" and "LAMBETH" and incised artist's initials conjoined "FEB" (probably Florence E. Barlow) and script "HC", 12-7/8 in.,. Provenance: Florence Barlow painted birds and flowers at Doulton's Lambeth works from 1873 to 1909. Her ceramic work was widely exhibited, including the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition (1876) and the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition (1904). She also exhibited at the Royal Academy (watercolors in 1884 and 1885) and at the Royal Society of British Artists (1883 and 1889); Private Asheville, North Carolina Collection

In house shipping. Brunk Auctions provides in-house shipping via UPS Ground (signature required) for many items. Brunk Auctions will provide a shipping quote which includes shipping, materials, labor and insurance. Insurance is based on the selling price and premium.

Shipping arrangements are made only after the invoice is paid. The payment for shipping is a separate charge from payment of your lots.
Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
