side by side configuration, serial number 21241, assisted opening 12 gauge, 16 in. LOP, 29-3/4 in. barrels, barrel rib inscribed "Cogswell & Harrison THE AVANT TOUT 142 New Bond Street and 226 Strand Street London", bead front sight, right bore cylinder, left bore improved cylinder, box lock with engraved scrollwork and "COGSWELL & HARRISON" in banner on both sides, barrel fences, blued lever, trigger guard and barrel tang with matching engraving, the number "2" on the barrel rib, forend, and safety slide, figured wood stock with initial shield, checkering at grip and forend, 47-3/4 in. overall, comes with wooden case

dings and scratches to exterior of barrels, bright bores with some frosting, oxidation to metal components, handling wear to wooden components with dents and abrasions, some loss of finish, 2 in. addition to wooden stock, old wooden case with wear likely not specific to the gun, triggers and ejectors appear to function
Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
