Plate Made for Catherine the Great of Russia Circa 1785 Chinese, late 18th century, reticulated plate in gilt-heightened sepia with imperial Russian double-headed eagle charged on the breast with St. George and the dragon, cavaletto surrounded by a floral garland entwined with a purple ribbon, reticulated rim in red and gilt cable band, 7-1/2 in., minor wear to gilt border, minor enamel loss.
