late Qing dynasty/early 20th century, with impressed seals to base, in the form of the Laughing Buddha Budai, seated and wearing a flowing robe finely painted with floral scrolls and the Eight Auspicious Emblems, open chest with exposed belly, holding a string of beads and money bag, 10-1/2 x 9-3/4 in.; conforming carved wood stand, overall height 13-1/4 in.
