American, early 20th century, by Edward F. Caldwell & Co., New York, bronze model of Neptune, with a gilt wreath on his head, in one hand he holds a trident, in the other aloft hand holding a gilt fish, which comprises an electric light, Neptune’s lower body is comprised of tentacles wrapping around the carved marble shell of a sea turtle, lamp is complete with an original bronze conch form finial, 35-1/2 in.. Provenance: Collection of Beverly and Mark Friedewald, Cocoa, Florida
Condition
chips to edges of turtle base, back flipper and tail broken off, bend in bronze trident, loss to gilt, loss to patination on bronze in high relief areas, scratch to lower back, hairline in back flipper
In house shipping. Brunk Auctions provides in-house shipping via UPS Ground (signature required) for many items. Brunk Auctions will provide a shipping quote which includes shipping, materials, labor and insurance. Insurance is based on the selling price and premium.

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
