Caldwell & Co., New York, bronze model of Salacia, wife of Neptune, with a gilt wreath on her head, holding a lyre in one hand, and in the other aloft hand holding a gilt tentacle, which comprises an electric light, Salacia’s lower body is comprised of tentacles, wrapping around the curved marble shell of a sea turtle, lamp is complete with an original bronze conch form finial, 35-1/2 in..
