Early Moon, Cottonwood Grove, 1922, signed lower left "BS" and signed and inscribed verso "Birger Sandzén/Lindsburg, Kansas/1922", oil on fiberboard, 7-1/8 x 9-1/8 in.; painted and gilt wood frame, good condition, formerly conserved by the Western Center for the Conservation of Fine Arts, Denver, Colorado and since with new gloss varnish; frame with abrasions.
