Leg Table
New England, 18th century, side of drawer inscribed "1766" and "MP", oval top with two drop leaves over a ring and baluster turned frame, skirt set with a single dovetailed drawer, rosehead nail and dovetailed construction, original feet, butterfly hinges, 26-1/4 x 40 x 15 in., opens to 43 in. appears to be in very good condition, top probably original but has been reset and cannot be removed for examination (some unexplained holes near hinges), two feet with scattered minor losses (one with more extensive chips), hinges replaced, some patches and later nails and pinning at top of legs, surface stains, wear and finish losses consistent with age and use (extensive on top)
