fine engraved dial with rocaille and basket ornament, signed "Thomas Jackson Preston", second hand and date ring, tiger maple waisted case with arched and scrolled pediment, quarter columns, straight bracket feet, pendulum, winder, two weights, 91 x 19 x 9-1/2 in. dial and works probably of the period but set with later boss bearing the name of Thomas Jackson, case largely modern reproduction with some period elements, scattered cracks and surface wear to the case.
