probably New York, early 19th century, gilt and eglomisé tablet depicting a female in mourning beside an urn "G.W.O.B. Dec 26 1799", original backboard, 35 x 18-3/4 in., good condition, scattered wear and losses to gilding, eglomisé plate with some minor distress (not removed for examination), mirror plate probably replaced.
