New England, 18th century, maple with white pine secondary, dovetailed and rosehead nail construction, base with shell-carved drawer, scalloped skirt and carved pad feet, 74-1/2 x 38 x 21 in.
upper and lower cases probably married (bottom board of upper section with holes from previous feet), refinished, brass replaced (no plugged holes), bed molding replaced, other scattered minor flaws
