New England, 1810-1820, cherry case with highly figured tiger maple drawer facings, graduated drawers with poplar and white pine secondary, original shaped skirt and legs, paneled back, bottom drawer with chalk inscription "Jacob B"(?), 40-1/2 x 41-3/4 x 23 in. good condition overall, replaced brasses (no plugged holes), scattered surface abrasions and wear, cracks and some veneer distress at skirts, refinished with some color variation
