attributed to Connecticut, 1790-1810, painted dial with moon phase, seconds sweep and date aperture, brass eight day movement, cherry case with arched hood with bird form fret, fluted collinettes, waisted case with fluted quarter columns, with pendulum and two weights, 86 x 20-1/2 x 10 in. - Provenance: Property from a duPont Family Estate, Charlottesville, Virginia
crazing and minor flaking to painted dial, moon phase repainted, cracks and repairs to bird form spandrels (possibly old restorations), saddle board and case appear to be a good match
