probably Kentucky or Ohio area, early 19th century, barberpole-inlaid top and skirt, four dovetailed drawers with kite escutcheons flanked by line-inlaid case sides, poplar secondary throughout, 43-1/2 x 38-1/2 x 20-1/2 in., old dry varnished surface, restorations to feet and skirt (front and side skirts probably original, other elements of mixed age), brasses replaced.
