Drawer Chest probably Southern States, early 19th century, dovetailed drawers with yellow pine and poplar secondary and light wood beading, top central drawer with inlaid escutcheon, French feet, 42-1/2 x 40-1/4 x 21-3/4 in. feet replaced (scalloped skirt original), brasses replaced, banding at top likely restored, scattered edge repairs at drawer facings and probable restoration of light wood banding, central drawer escutcheon inlay probably later in date, underside of top with some later bracing, scattered cracks, finish distress and other repairs
