probably Connecticut, late 18th/early 19th century, hood with broken-arch pediment, arched and painted dial with Roman chapter ring and date and seconds, eight-day brass movement, white pine secondary, 88-1/2 x 21-1/4 x 12-1/2 in. refinished and restored, feet and base molding replaced, probable restorations to hood and hood door, extensively refinished and difficult to read for originality, but door frame likely replaced, other possible replacements, lacking seconds hand, dial otherwise generally good with even crackle, some surface wear and losses to blacking, works and case appear to be a good match (one upright replaced, the other holes are a good match).
