Tall Case Clock dial signed "Simon Willard Roxbury", early 19th century, the arched painted dial with moon phase and seconds hand, moon phase painted with a landscape and a figure of a seated woman with yarn, waisted case with broken-arch pediment with filpot carved rosettes and brass finials, fluted quarter columns, with two weights, a winder and pendulum, 99 x 18-1/2 x 11 in.; clock functioning at time of pick-up

signature strengthened and/or added, saddleboard and case possibly a good match, feet off but some elements of original feet present and accompany lot, case otherwise in good condition, original finials and swans' necks, pediment with only minor repairs, minor sun fading to one side of case, the dial with typical crazing, other typical cracks and repairs, scattered chips and losses to paint especially at date ring and moon phase; clock functioning at time of pick-up
