probably Boston, circa 1825, carved and composition ornament, rosette decorated corners with reeded and lotus leaf columns surrounding a rectangular mirror plate, 59 x 33-1/2 in.
scattered gilding losses and flaking, losses at two ribbed collars on columns, backboard replaced, some scratches and distress to silvering on mirror plate (mirror plate possibly original, not removed for exam), frame with other scattered surface wear and some areas of paint retouch
