Pennsylvania or Southern, late 18th century, boldly inlaid fall board (F, &.N), opening to a fitted interior with eight serpentine drawers, two document drawers, centering a paneled removable prospect section, case with two sliding lid candle drawers and four long drawers, flanked by fluted quarter columns, set on boldly formed ogee bracket feet, poplar and pine secondary, 41 x 38-1/2 x 21 in.

feet and brasses replaced, otherwise generally good, some warping to slant lid, typical cracks and checking especially at case sides, some stains and scratches to desk interiors
