Front Chest of Drawers
Boston, 1760-1780, possibly School of Benjamin Frothingham, richly colored mahogany, graduated dovetailed drawers set with probably original batwing brasses and escutcheons, straight bracket feet, 30 x 36 x 20-1/2 in.. Condition: good condition overall, scattered cracks and checking to drawer facings, some polish halos, top with some warping and surface stains, some areas with added color, largely original feet with scattered repairs and restorations including some pieced facings, scattered cracks and color retouch.
